Johan Lorbeer is a German street performer who has gained fame for hanging several feet in the air in seemingly impossible positions. These still life Performance acts are hot and this one is called “Tarzan”, where the hell they got this name from is beyond me because I have never seen Tarzan do this.
In the act, Lorbeer casually hangs in mid-air several
feet above the ground and leans his left arm stiffly against a building
or wall as the other arm rests on his hip. Below him is a fairly large
crowd The watching in amazement and taking pictures. At first I was
almost certain this was a publicity stunt, but it is not. It is a
fairly simple trick, but Lorbeer does a great job of capturing people’s
imaginations and curiosity.
